1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC. is seeking an Operations team member to support daily facility operations by processing orders and meeting deadlines. You will communicate with Telecenter, drivers, and leadership to ensure deliveries are on time and DLC confirmations are completed by 7:00 PM.

The role requires organizational and multitasking skills, plus basic computer proficiency. Flexibility for extended hours during holidays and potential involvement in routing deliveries is included.

Responsibilities

• Process daily orders and ensure all required deadlines are met.
• Oversee the Operations area to ensure orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to or route requests appropriately.
• Communicate clearly and accurately with the Telecenter regarding orders and operational needs.
• Communicate with drivers to help ensure deliveries are completed on time.
• Monitor and ensure all required DLC confirmations are completed before 7:00 PM.
• Assist with routing deliveries to drivers in the absence of the Manager.
• Complete required daily reports for the Manager.
• Make operational decisions to ensure orders are processed and delivered within company standards.
• Assist in other areas of the facility as needed, including Inventory and Floral Design.
• Receive vendor deliveries as needed.
• Maintain flexibility to support changing operational needs.
