Flexcar is seeking an Operations Specialist in San Jose, CA to support frontline teams in ensuring vehicle readiness and quality. This outdoor role requires attention to detail, tech usage, and coordination, with duties including vehicle cleaning, inspections, inventory scans, and coordinating deliveries.

The position is full-time, non-exempt, and paid hourly with overtime in California. Benefits are provided from day one.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail a high volume of vehicles to meeting company standards.
• Assess vehicle quality and document damage using company technology.
• Complete readiness, return, and in-fleet inspections.
• Take high-quality vehicle photos for website display.
• Conduct daily inventory scans and assist with reconciliation.
• Organize and manage vehicle inventory and parking areas.
• Communicate with team members using company-issued smart devices.
• Assist with customer vehicle deliveries as needed.
• Maintain Flexcar facilities and property.
• Manage assigned projects and tasks as needed.
• Safeguard vehicles, company property, and customer information.
• Comply with Cal/OSHA safety requirements and environmental standards.
• Accurately complete timekeeping records.

Position Overview

The Operations Specialist works closely with frontline teams to ensure vehicles meetFlexcarquality standards and arecustomer-ready. This role primarilyoperatesoutdoors at a market location and requires strong attention to detail, technology usage, and operational coordination.

This is anon-exempt positionand is eligible for overtime compensation under California law, including:

• Overtime for hours worked over 8 in a workday

• Double time for hours worked over 12 in a workday

• Overtime premiums for qualifying seventh consecutive workdays

Essential Functions

Compensation Transparency (California – SB 1162)

The hourly pay range for this position in California is$24.00 – $26.00 per hour.

This rangerepresentsthereasonably expectedpay range for this role within California. Actual compensation will bedeterminedbased on:

• Experience

• Skills and competencies

• Geographic location

• Internal equity considerations

This position is paid on an hourly basis and is eligible for overtimein accordance withCalifornia wage and hour laws.
