Job summary

Flexcar in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Operations Specialist to join our on-site team. You will clean and detail vehicles, assess quality, use our tech to photograph and inventory cars, and support the delivery of customer orders.

This role requires physical work, the ability to multitask, and excellent communication. You’ll work with a fast-paced operations group, adhere to safety standards, and help maintain a high standard of fleet readiness across shifts, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean and detail a high volume of cars inside and out to Flexcar standards.
• Assess vehicle quality and damage using our technology.
• Communicate with team members via a company smartphone.
• Complete readiness and return checklists accurately and quickly.
• Complete fleet inspections and the vehicle optioning process.
• Take consistent high-quality images for our website using company tech.
• Conduct daily inventory scans and assist with reconciliation.
• Support special projects and manage timelines with stakeholders.
• Organize parking and labeling of cars in the inventory.
• Address vehicle issues to return them to customers promptly.
• Maintain Flexcar facilities and properties to company standards.
• Assist order delivery team to deliver customer cars when needed.
• Complete other tasks from team leads and managers.

Job Title: Operations Specialist
Location: Onsite, Charlotte, NC
Compensation: $22.50/hr + Full Benefit Package

What You’ll Do:

• Clean and detail a high volume of cars inside and out to meet Flexcar standards

• Assess vehicle quality and damage by using our technology

• Communicate with other Flexcar team members using a smart device

• Complete readiness and return checklists accurately and quickly

• Complete infleet inspections and the vehicle optioning process

• Use our technology to take consistent high-quality images for our website

• Conduct accurate, daily complete inventory scans, and assist with reconciliation process

• Work on various special projects - managing their moving parts, timelines, and stakeholders - as dictated by unique business needs in an emerging market.

• Properly manage vehicle inventory, including organizing a parking lot and correctly labeling cars

• Address issues with vehicles to return them to customers as quickly as possible.

• Maintain all Flexcar facilities and property to company standards

• Assist the order delivery team to deliver customer cars for orders, as needed

• Complete other assigned tasks from team leads and managers as directed
