Job summary

Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo) in Richland, WA, seeks an Operations Specialist to support the Soil and Groundwater Operations shift office. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Single point of contact for receiving project notifications and taking appropriate action as defined in procedures.
  • Communicate notifications to all levels of management per protocols.
  • Answer calls and make notifications as needed on a 24/7 basis.
  • Assume the responsibilities of key custodian, including maintaining access to wells across the site.
  • Maintain overtime logs for the S&G0 project.
  • Obtain data, compile daily Shift Office Report, and distribute the report daily.
  • Assist in event classification and event reporting.
  • Conduct assessments and procedure reviews as required.
  • Conduct annual inventory of S&G0 physical property.

At Central Plateau Cleanup Company (CPCCo), located in Richland, Washington, we are working to provide a sustainable future for the historic Hanford area through the protection of the Columbia River and the remediation of the Central Plateau. The Soil and Groundwater Operations (S&GO) Shift Office is the communications hub for the S&GO project. The Shift Office receives and sends time urgent information to field workers and all levels of project and company management.

A day in the life of an Operations Specialist involves, but is not limited to the following:

  • Single point of contact for receiving project notifications and taking appropriate action as defined in procedures.

Basic Qualifications
  • Intermediate Grade 14: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 2 or more years of relevant experience
  • Intermediate Grade 15: Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with 3 or more years of relevant experience

The higher posted level has greater scope, complexity, authority, impact. The level offered to the selected candidate will be based on the needs of the company and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience.

Compensation & Benefits

In accordance with the CPCCo salary determination process, CPCCo takes into consideration the level of assigned job duties and responsibilities, and the candidate's education, training, and/or experience relative to internal peers and the external labor market. CPCCo will not solicit salary history for candidates.

Expected annualized pay range based on full time schedule (40 hours per week):

  • Intermediate Grade 14: $81,500 - $103,750
  • Intermediate Grade 15: $81,500 - $114,100

In addition to base pay, employees may be eligible for variable pay awards.
