Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an Operations Solutions Coordinator to join MCL Operations. This hybrid role near Rochester involves leading inquiry management, client communication solutions, and cross-functional collaboration to implement new service lines.

The candidate should have a Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific field and substantial clinical laboratory experience, with travel as needed and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human-based biology, chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or related scientific fields and seven years of clinical laboratory and/or patient care experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license and good driving record may be required based on business needs and travel expectations.
• Masters degree (e.g. Master of Health or Master of Business Administration) preferred. Experience leading implementation of new product lines and services is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develops and governs client-contact architecture, including service-routing methodologies and navigation models that support consistent and effective client access.
• Develops and governs operational decision-support structures, including decision trees and reason-code frameworks that support consistent classification and management of client inquiries.
• Establishes closed-loop inquiry management frameworks that define ownership, handoffs, resolution, and closure across the inquiry lifecycle.
• Develops and governs standardized client-communication solutions, including reusable messaging, templates, and automated communication for common client scenarios.
• Establishes standardized pathways for inquiries requiring laboratory or other subject-matter expertise, including defined consultation criteria, content ownership, and engagement processes.
• Domestic and international travel required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in human-based biology, chemistry, Medical Laboratory Science, biochemistry, biomedical engineering, or related scientific fields

Strong prioritization and workload management skills
