Job summary

We offer recent grads hands-on experience in business, operations, and customer-facing roles with strong problem-solving and cutting-edge technology. In this in-person role, you will greet customers, process sales, learn product lines, support inventory, and help keep stores efficient in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience in a wholesale distribution or warehouse environment preferred.
• Experience safely operating a forklift is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and guide them through purchases.
• Process orders accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Learn AUS’s inventory of pipe, valves, fittings, tools, and waterworks products.
• Help maintain one of the Midwest’s most comprehensive inventories.
• Assist with pricing, discounts, and stock calculations.
• Support daily store operations to keep contractors and municipalities project-ready.
• Work with customers to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
• Maintain a clean, organized store environment.
• Balance customer interactions with operational tasks in a fast-paced setting.
