Job summary

The incumbent performs 100% service delivery activities, including contractor monitoring, quality control, and acts as liaison between contractors and the program office, with extensive local travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and two years professional related experience.
• Knowledge of federal and state Child and Adult Care Food Program regulations and procedures.
• Ability to interpret regulations, analyze processes, and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Skill in use of personal computers and standard software packages.
• Willingness to perform field work and travel extensively in multi-county area.

The Operations Review Specialist for the Department of Health monitors and reviews Child Care Food Program contractors' compliance across a defined Florida region, provides technical assistance and training to contractors, and completes written reports within required timeframes. The incumbent works independently under the Southern Regional Supervisor of the Field Operations Section with extensive local day travel required across multiple counties.
