Craft, a branding and design studio in New York, seeks an Operations & Resource Manager to scale cross-functional teams. You’ll own real-time capacity, build dashboards to track project status and pipeline, and set resourcing guardrails so new business can scope work without constant approvals.
The role treats resourcing as a financial lever, linking staffing to utilisation, burn and profitability, and you’ll help implement AI and automation in forecasting, reporting to studio leadership.
Join a branding and design agency, with a sharp specialism in CPG across food, beverage and wellness, at the point where its growth has outpaced its systems - that's the reason this role exists.
The studio's work is effectiveness-led rather than aesthetics-led. Great creative here is what’s measured, and we’re after an Operations & Resource Manager that lets it scale.
You'll direct the day-to-day flow of people, projects and priorities across the studio - the connective tissue between accounts, creative, strategy and new business. That means owning real-time visibility into capacity, building the dashboards that track project status and pipeline, and setting resourcing guardrails so new business can scope work without waiting on constant approvals.
But the remit goes further than coordination. You'll treat resourcing as a financial lever, connecting staffing decisions to utilisation, burn and profitability. You'll design flexible mechanisms for accelerated timelines, including a structured freelance activation model and a managed bench. And you'll have a genuine mandate to bring AI and automation into forecasting, so gaps get flagged before they become problems.
You'd report directly into studio leadership and sit credibly in rooms full of creative and account leads. This is systems-building from first principles, not inheriting a mature machine.
$125,000 - $160,000
You're a Senior Resourcing Manager, Studio Operations Lead, or Head of Production inside a creative or branding agency - most likely mid-sized. You've owned resourcing across creative, strategy and account teams at once, and you're fluent in utilisation, burn and scope-to-profitability mechanics.
You've built and run a freelance bench end-to-end, and ideally, you've built processes from scratch in a growing studio rather than maintaining someone else's.
It’s our job to build teams of people, and we’re proud to bring together a global network of diverse talent.
