Job summary

NRP Group is seeking an Operations Project Manager in the Cleveland/Columbus area to lead multifamily housing development projects from pricing through handoff to property management. You will coordinate external consultants, manage budgets, schedules, and regulatory compliance while driving risk mitigation and stakeholder alignment.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in real estate development, strong cross-functional leadership, and experience with entitlements, zoning, and financial planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Real Estate, Land Planning, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in real estate development or multifamily housing.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams, managing due diligence, entitlements, and large-scale projects.
• Experience with financial planning, budget management, and P&L accountability.
• Familiarity with zoning regulations, real estate debt and equity financing, community engagement, and regulatory processes.
• Expertise in integrated project management and governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage multifamily housing development projects from initial pricing and scheduling to construction completion and handoff to property management.
• Engage and direct external consultants, oversee consultant coordination meetings.
• Maintain project budgets and schedules; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Develop and maintain a project risk register with mitigation plans.
• Coordinate entitlements, zoning, and permitting approvals; engage with authorities early.
• Support transition to property management and asset management; manage change orders and cost control.
