Job summary

Ambrook is seeking a hands-on Programs/Operations professional to lead placemaking for the San Francisco office, coordinate cross-functional programs, and drive engagement with customers, candidates, and the local tech community.

You will partner with founders on high-impact projects, plan field visits, and design events that connect engineers, operators, and leaders. This role blends operations, hospitality, and tech enablement in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 1–8 years in operations, recruiting, hospitality or production roles.
• Hospitable and craft-focused, with attention to guest needs and event details.
• Able to simplify complex workflows and improve systems.
• Comfortable using AI to streamline recurring tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own placemaking for the SF office and run guest programs and visits.
• Partner with founders on special projects and drive tasks to completion.
• Shape how customers and candidates meet Ambrook and plan field visits.
• Catalyze community events across the metro area and company activations.
• Improve tech enablement: onboarding, offboarding, tool adoption, AI usage.
• Create AI systems to fix recurring process frictions.
