Job summary

City of Chicago is seeking a Program Analyst in the Children’s Services Division of the Department of Family & Support Services. The role involves researching and analyzing program efficiency, creating data-driven reports, and developing procedures to improve services.

Starting salary is $75,336.00 with the City’s career service; open to the public and AFSCME bargaining units. Location at 1615 W Chicago Ave, Monday through Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of program evaluation experience
• Associate's degree + four (4) years of program evaluation experience
• Bachelor's degree + two (2) years of program evaluation experience
• Master's degree or higher + one (1) year of program evaluation experience

Responsibilities

• Studies administrative and operational processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement
• Develops flowcharts, forms, and work measurements for thorough analysis
• Creates and maintains a database of program statistics and budget information
• Prepares detailed reports on findings and recommendations for improvements
• Monitors changes to ensure efficiencies are achieved and recommends further changes
• Oversees subordinate positions in the research and evaluation process
