Job summary

DP World in Carlisle, USA, seeks a Logistics Coordinator to provide rate quotes for nonstandard transportation, register orders with special requirements, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery. You will track shipments and apply late reason codes to support service failure reporting.

You will work with customers to resolve inventory discrepancies and participate in process documentation and continuous improvement initiatives, with occasional warehouse travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Customer service background in logistics with ability to handle problem resolution in a timely manner.
• Word, Excel, Outlook knowledge with strong emphasis on Excel used for tracking and analysis.
• Must be able to manage inventory in an RF Portal, and Manual system environment. This candidate will work in an office setting but will be expecting to travel to the warehouse as needed.
• Understand transportation modes and service levels.

• Apply applicable late reason codes in accordance with Service Failure tracking and reporting.
• Work with customer to resolve inventory discrepancies. Follow-up with regards to exception reporting and damage assessment, communicate to customer.
• Participate in process flow documentation and standard operating procedures and identify opportunities for improvement based on customer needs.
• Other duties as assigned.
