Job summary

Health Care Service Corporation seeks a Specialist to develop and deliver operational performance reporting. The role analyzes data, translates business requirements into insights, and adheres to data governance standards to drive standardized, scalable reporting.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in data/analytical roles or 7+ years in related systems areas, with strong SQL, Python, and visualization tool skills. Hybrid work with in-office presence in Richardson, TX is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or 7 years in a broad systems scope.
• Experience with Governance, Risk and Compliance concepts and processes.
• Experience with a GRC Solution.
• Experienced in tracking and organizing information.
• Experienced in various desktop tools for tracking and managing information.
• Experienced in leading work efforts, simple project management.
• Experienced in preparing and reporting status.
• Knowledge of corporate operations, including business partner operations, compliance support, code of conduct, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to articulate complex concepts to various technical and non-technical audiences.
• Time-management and project-management skills.
• Collaborate well with individuals across the business and IT, as well as at all levels of the organization.
• Experienced in areas of sensitivity, listening/receptivity, leading and motivating others, and open to the opportunities of new ideas and approaches proposed by auditees and project leaders.

Job Summary

Positioned at the intersection of data, technology, and business operations, this role supports the development and delivery of operational performance reporting to enable informed decision-making. The Specialist independently analyzes data, develops reporting solutions, and translates business requirements into accurate, actionable insights, adhering to established data governance standards. This role advances standardized, scalable, and automated reporting by identifying improvement opportunities and leveraging data, tools, and system capabilities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience with a broad range of exposure to system analysis, application development, database design and administration, or 7 years of experience with a broad range of exposure to systems analysis, application development and administration.
• Experience with and understanding of Governance, Risk and Compliance concepts and processes (e.g. policies, audits, controls metrics)
• Experience with a GRC Solution

Preferred Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in related field (e.g., Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Operations Management)
• Demonstrated progression in applying analytical, technical, and business domain knowledge to solve moderately complex problems with limited oversight.
• Strong proficiency in programming and query languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) with the ability to independently develop, optimize, and troubleshoot queries.
• Ability to create dynamic and engaging dashboards leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Experience using automation tools (e.g., Alteryx, UiPath) to support data preparation, workflow execution, and process improvements.
• Solid project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, track deliverables, and resolve issues in moderately complex initiatives.

The compensation offered will vary depending on your job-related skills, education, knowledge, and experience. This role aligns with an annual incentive bonus plan subject to the terms and the conditions of the plan.

Flex employees are expected to be in the office a minimum of three days a week. Management will have discretion to modify an employee's weekly schedule for exigent circumstances.
