Job summary

HD Supply is seeking an experienced operations leader to ensure processes and policies are communicated and adhered to. You will hold self and team accountable for performance and drive accountability through metrics, taking ownership of success and failure of initiatives.

Responsibilities include tracking industry trends, managing HR functions, ensuring tools/training, and overseeing fleet/operations planning. Emphasis on SOX compliance and cost/performance improvements.

Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline and 7+ years of experience in a related field.
• May require certification. Advanced degree may offset less experience in some disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Tracks industry trends and defines programs related to business need.
• Manages HR functions including hiring and training of managers and supervision of associates.
• Ensures tools and training; coordinates and monitors inventories and moves.
• Manages logistic planning for Fleet and Operations.
• Implements SOX compliance procedures focusing on Safety and General Operations.
• Focuses on process and operations consistency to reduce cost and improve performance.
• Makes decisions based on accurate information and represents issues fairly for resolution.
