Job summary

Builders FirstSource is seeking a General Manager to lead a location and drive performance across production, sales, operations and service. You will guide staff, supervise budgeting, and ensure safety and procedural compliance while delivering financial results.

The role requires proven leadership, strategic planning, and strong communication in a fast-paced construction materials environment. It is an on-site, full-time position with a focus on team development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
• 8+ years related experience; equivalent combination accepted.
• Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assists the General Manager in achieving location objectives across production, sales, operations, delivery, purchasing, inventory, customer service and admin.
• Provides direction to the management team and staff to meet location goals.
• Participates in recruiting, hiring, promoting, and training employees.
• Monitors budget, operating costs, and reporting; approves accounts payable when assigned.
