Job summary

Crane Worldwide Logistics seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor in Atlanta to lead daily operations, recruit hourly staff, schedule workloads, and drive efficiency across the site. You will coach and mentor the team, coordinate with other departments, and oversee cost controls to protect gross profit and assets.

A background in inventory systems and MS Office is preferred, with a focus on safety and accuracy. This role emphasizes reliability, teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of warehouse experience.
• 3+ years of supervisory/management experience.
• Professional certification may be required in some areas.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the recruitment of hourly employees for the warehouse.
• Ensures planning, direction, scheduling, and assignment of jobs for warehouse staff.
• Manages department performance through coaching, mentoring and motivation of warehouse staff.
• Coordinates work activities of warehouse operations with other departments to ensure better efficiency and cohesion.
• Oversees cost control measures to strengthen gross profit and contribution.
• Maintains operational reliability of warehouse equipment through a third‑party vendor and safeguards company assets.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Standing/Walking 75% of the time.
• Stand or sit for long periods of time.
• Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch; frequently required to climb or balance.
• Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.
• Job may require presence on‑site at the assigned work location.

Education and Experience
