Job summary

DSV – Global transport and logistics in Dallas seeks an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily site operations, including warehousing, receiving, and shipping. You will plan inbound/outbound volume, manage space, and lead a team to achieve productivity, safety, and quality objectives.

The role requires 7 years of logistics experience with 5 years in supervision, proficiency in WMS and MS Office, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
5 years’ supervisory experience.
Ability to work in unregulated warehouse temperatures is required.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day site operations including warehousing, receiving, and shipping.
Plan inbound/outbound volume and space utilization to meet service and cost objectives.
Lead hiring, training, performance reviews, and staff development.
Ensure adherence to SOPs and safety/quality standards.
Meet client KPIs and drive continuous improvement and cost-savings.
Coordinate with HR on personnel matters and training programs.
Communicate with senior management and clients on critical issues.
Manage budgeting, controls, and cost management.
