B-Tech Contracting Group is seeking an organized Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across the U.S. Virgin Islands, coordinating field teams and ensuring projects move smoothly from initiation to completion.

The ideal candidate translates client needs into clear assignments, schedules, and follow-through, with strong leadership, safety focus, and professional communication with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors, while maintaining accurate records.

Formación

• Experience managing field operations, technical service teams, construction crews, or maintenance activities.
• Working knowledge of disciplines: physical security, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, or electrical systems.
• Ability to understand scopes of work and coordinate appropriate support.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional communication with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools, email, spreadsheets, and work order/project management systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between islands as needed.
• English proficiency required; Spanish preferred but not required.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate island logistics: Organize travel, material deliveries, equipment availability, and staffing for St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John.
• Report to leadership: Communicate project status, staffing needs, and opportunities to improve performance.

B-Tech Contracting Group is seeking an organized, proactive Operations Manager to oversee our daily operations throughout the U.S. Virgin Islands. We provide installation, maintenance, and technical support for access control, CCTV, fire alarm, telecommunications, networking, and electrical systems.

This position requires a hands-on leader who can coordinate field teams, communicate professionally with clients, and keep projects and service work moving efficiently. The ideal candidate understands the technical contracting industry and can translate client needs into clear assignments, schedules, and follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate field teams: Assign technicians and crews, establish daily priorities, and manage schedules across multiple projects and service calls.
• Manage client relationships: Serve as a primary operational contact, coordinate site access and service visits, provide progress updates, and address concerns promptly.
• Oversee work execution: Monitor progress, identify obstacles, and coordinate the personnel, materials, equipment, and technical support needed to complete assignments.
• Support project planning: Participate in site visits, clarify scope requirements, and assist with labor estimates, scheduling, and resource planning.
• Maintain operational records: Ensure timely submission of work orders, technician hours, service reports, photographs, and completion documentation to support accurate billing.
• Promote safety and quality: Reinforce company procedures, safe work practices, and workmanship standards.
• Coordinate island logistics: Organize travel, material deliveries, equipment availability, and staffing needs for work in St. Thomas, St. Croix, and St. John.
• Report to leadership: Communicate project status, staffing needs, client issues, and opportunities to improve operational performance.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of one or more relevant disciplines: physical security, access control, CCTV, fire alarm, telecommunications, structured cabling, networking, or electrical systems.
• Ability to understand scopes of work, recognize technical issues, and coordinate appropriate support.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Professional communication skills and confidence working directly with clients, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Familiarity with scheduling tools, email, spreadsheets, and work order or project management systems.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between islands as operational needs require.
• English proficiency required. Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
