Job summary

DH Pace Company seeks a Manager Trainee for the Des Moines, IA office. The role focuses on leading service and installation operations, scheduling, and cost control to meet daily commitments for customers.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of personnel management experience, strong customer communication skills, and the ability to work with technical/mechanical systems. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of two years experience managing personnel
• Ability to communicate with customers and ensure satisfaction levels exceed expectations
• Review customer survey data and address concerns
• Demonstrate ability for technical applications and mechanical systems
• Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the service and installation department
• Plan and execute schedules to meet daily customer commitments
• Review workload and manpower to meet customer commitments cost-effectively
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to customer satisfaction
• Review monthly reports and develop action plans with front-line managers
• Improve field team performance through regular reviews
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees
• Perform other duties as assigned by Manager
