Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking an Operations Manager Trainee in Albuquerque, NM. After eight weeks of structured training, you’ll advance to a supervisory role overseeing daily operations and sales, driving fleet optimization, revenue growth and customer satisfaction while managing staff.

Eligible candidates bring a bachelor’s degree (or assoc. degree with supervisory experience), a valid driver’s license, and flexibility to work shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with bachelor's degree OR associate's degree plus at least two years’ supervisory experience.
• Ability to demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, work well in a team environment with a positive attitude, and make independent decisions.
• Valid driver's license.
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in weather conditions with moderate noise level.
• This position requires regular, on-site presence and cannot be performed remotely.
• One year of experience providing high quality customer service preferred.
• The annual starting salary for this position is $55,000 annually.
• Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and sales functions to maximize fleet, revenue, customer satisfaction and staff management.
• Lead and mentor teams through the eight-week trainee program and transition to supervisory roles.
