Job summary

Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, seeks an Operations Manager to lead the UI‑TOS traffic and open space portfolio. You will provide leadership, technical direction, and oversight of the facility supervisor team, ensuring ESH&Q, Engineering and Maintenance functions operate safely under P315 Conduct of Operations.

A Bachelor's Degree and 8 years of related experience are required; equivalent combinations will be considered.

Qualifications

• Experience implementing Conduct of Operations (P315) and conducting root cause analyses.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and schematics; knowledge of maintenance and electrical systems.
• Experience in management, supervision, and HR administration of assigned employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UI-TOS operations group (Traffic and Open Space).
• Ensure ESH&Q, engineering, and maintenance operate safely under P315.
• Oversee facility supervisor team and occupancies, with after-hours coverage via Duty Officer.
