Job summary

Mr. Handyman of North & West Central MD is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily operations, manage service requests and customer complaints, and help grow the business. You will report to the owner and ensure high standards of service and team collaboration.

You are self-motivated, energetic, and focused on customer satisfaction, with the ability to handle diverse situations and coordinate field technicians and administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Customer service and sales experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheet and business software.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
• Return customer calls and inquiries, respond to complaints, and resolve issues.
• Schedule services and dispatch technicians.
• Perform marketing functions to sell additional work and grow the business.
• Oversee both residential and commercial operations.
• Assist in hiring field technicians.
• Handle data entry, payments, and inventory.
• Oversee maintenance of company vehicles.
