Job summary

Transport Refrigeration, Inc. in Oak Creek, WI is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the daily Service and Parts operations, drive growth and customer satisfaction at our Oak Creek location.

You will mentor associates, oversee schedules, safety, and OSHA compliance, and partner with the sales team to support business growth. This is a full-time day-shift role with comprehensive benefits and opportunities to contribute to a fast-growing Thermo King dealership serving Wisconsin.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or supervisory experience in a dealership, diesel, trailer, or service repair shop.
• Background in trucking, trailers, heavy equipment, or agriculture industries.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365.
• Safety-focused mindset.
• Excellent organization and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop associates.
• Manage daily Service and Parts operations.
• Monitor productivity and KPIs.
• Interview, hire, onboard, and train new associates.
• Conduct performance reviews and coaching.
• Ensure workplace safety and OSHA compliance.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Lead weekly staff and shop meetings.
• Manage schedules, timecards, and on-call rotations.
• Oversee building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with customer payments and administrative processes.
• Partner with the sales team to support business growth.
