6 Degrees Search in Richmond, VA seeks a New-Construction Operations Manager to lead production, sales, and field operations for custom homes. You will oversee leads, budgets, vendor networks, and team development; strong leadership and servant-leader style required.

Competitive compensation includes a base salary in the $125k–$150k range plus bonuses, 401k, health insurance, vehicle and phone allowances, and PTO.

Responsibilities

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Weekly updates with Division President
• Track sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, settlements
• Manage PMs: reviews with managers & leadership
• Conduct job inspections when needed
• Hold final review meetings
• Plan reviews and scheduling
• Recruit, hire, train, mentor, and supervise staff and subs
• Build vendor/networking relationships
• Negotiate contracts and hire subs/suppliers
• Review overhead and P&L
• Address customer concerns and resolutions

A National leader in the custom home building industry, is looking for a New-Construction Operations Manager in Richmond, VA (Petersburg)

The ideal candidate must possess a strong knowledge of custom residential construction, familiar with production building (multiple homes at one time), hard work ethic, problem-solving skills, and a servant‑leader management style.

The candidate will preferable be from/familiar with the South Richmond VA area & knows the local vendors/subs/etc to acclimate more quickly to the operations.

This company is looking for the right person with “positive energy” and strong leadership abilities that will constantly be driving the Production & Sales processes as well as growing the team.

Here is the basic breakdown of their approach to managing all aspects of the branch operations, sales & production for our office clientele & staff.

Overview of Priorities:

• Review new leads with Sales Team
• Review advertising and approve budget
• Updates with Division President weekly
• Review sales pipeline, contracts, Starts, Warranty, Settlements, etc
• Review projections and challenges with managers & Corporate leadership.

• Job inspection when necessary
• Final Review meetings
• Plan reviews
• Recruit/hire/train/mentor/supervise employees, subs and vendors
• Networking expertise
• Negotiate contracts & Hire subs and suppliers
• Review overhead costs and general P&L
• Address customer concerns & Communicate Resolutions
