ServiceMaster Services in Richmond, VA is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee 5-15 accounts and lead a team of 50-100 employees. The role reports to the Vice President of Operations and drives operational excellence and exceptional service.

You will develop cleaning plans, manage staffing and budgets, and build strong client relationships while maintaining safety and quality standards. Flexible hours with some weekends are required.

• 7-10 years of progressive leadership experience in operations management.
• Proven success managing a full-time and part-time hourly workforce.
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and operations across multiple locations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all levels.
• Exceptional customer service skills with a problem-solving mindset.
• Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Experience in the janitorial industry is preferred but not required.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate's or bachelor's degree is preferred.

• Develop and execute effective cleaning plans, addressing absenteeism and other challenges.
• Train, motivate, and develop supervisory and production staff.
• Manage staffing levels, schedules, cleaning plans, time & attendance records, and labor budgets.
• Monitor and control inventory of equipment, supplies, and materials.
• Ensure financial performance by achieving P&L goals for each account.
• Conduct regular inspections to uphold cleanliness, safety, and customer standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients through proactive communication and exceptional service.
• Identify opportunities for revenue growth and customer retention.
• Support fellow Operations Managers during building start-ups, recruiting, and resource sharing.
