Columbia Sportswear Company in the United States is seeking a Production Manager to lead the assigned distribution center departments, supervise staff, schedule coverage, and optimize throughput while ensuring safety and policy compliance.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, drive continuous improvement programs such as LEAN/5-S, monitor KPIs and labor utilization, and develop talent through training and coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in logistics/industrial operations.
• 2–4 years in materials management and distribution with supervision preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse and labor management systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage Production Supervisors and staff according to policy; ensure coverage and safety.
• Schedule departments, monitor workflow, and adjust to meet goals.
• Lead continuous improvement via LEAN/5-S and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and throughput.
• Develop staff via training and performance feedback.
