This Position reports to:

Regional Service Manager - Marine & PA

In this role, you will lead local operations with a focus on daily execution, cost efficiency, and exceeding customer expectations. You will drive lean, reliable operations across the value chain while developing and executing the area’s operational strategy to ensure customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation, Marine and Ports division in the North American market.

About the Marine & Ports Division:

The Marine & Ports Division supports the shipping and ports industries with integrated power, propulsion, automation, software, and service solutions that enhance vessel uptime, energy efficiency, and reliability. Through ABB Ability software and global Collaborative Operations Centers, we help customers reduce fuel and maintenance costs, boost safety, and improve operational performance. Our automation and digital solutions for cargo handling enable terminals to safely and efficiently manage larger ships and volumes, supporting both sustainability and profitability across the vessel lifecycle.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Ensuring customer focus, the understanding of sense of urgency and care in your direct area of responsibility.
• Guaranteeing customer retention by delivering superior customer service experience.
• Utilizing the local practices for notifying the account team about the opportunities.
• Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect reports.
  
  

Qualifications for the role:

• 5+ years of experience in Marine Industry service or Electrical Engineering service or equivalent experience in the diesel engine, preferably supervisory position.
• Bachelors' degree in engineering or business administration, MBA preferred
• Service experience (sales, project management, service coordination, or service engineer)
• Knowledge and experience in SAP, MS Project and other PM tools
• Experience in managing personnel
• Service experience (sales, project management, service coordination, or service engineer) of Cruise and offshore industry
