Job summary

Eaton’s AER MSD Mission System Division in Davenport, IA is seeking an Operations Manager to lead manufacturing operations within the SIOP framework. The role drives continuous improvement, safety, and KPI attainment across IPTs and site-wide initiatives.

The successful candidate will develop schedules, mentor teams, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards while coordinating with Manufacturing Engineers and Quality teams to meet customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor’s Degree or Associate degree with relevant operations/engineering leadership experience in manufacturing.
• U.S. work authorization is required now and in the future; no sponsorship assumed.
• No relocation offered; Davenport, IA area residents preferred within 70 miles; ITAR compliance applies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and execute plans for Operations in the SIOP process.
• Act as Continuous Improvement Champion, driving cross-functional productivity and waste reduction.
• Oversee daily plan execution with Manufacturing Engineers, Supervisors, Material Planners, and Quality Engineers.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental systems compliance in all processes.
• Develop weekly/monthly production schedules to support the SIOP plan.
• Incorporate Environmental, Health, and Safety in daily activities.
• Drive IPT KPI results for safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory, and responsiveness.
• Lead and mentor direct reports; conduct performance reviews.
• Develop talent within the team and support customer requirements as needed.
