Job summary

Eaton’s Avery Creek/Asheville, NC manufacturing facility seeks an Operations Excellence (OPEX) Manager to drive continuous improvement and lead the Eaton Business System deployment.

In this highly visible role you will champion Six Sigma, 8D actions, and lean initiatives while partnering across functions to deliver measurable productivity and quality gains for the site. Relocation assistance is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
• Five years of progressive experience in manufacturing and/or engineering.
• One (1) year of leadership experience, such as Project Management, Product or Process Improvement/Implementation.

Responsibilities

• Drive continual improvement in the implementation of the Eaton Business System throughout the facility and plant organization.
• Drive Eaton Lean Six Sigma deployment through training, facilitation, and deployment resources.
• Foster continual improvement in project management through the PROLaunch process.
