Job summary

Eaton's Electrical Sector - Residential Wiring Devices Division seeks an Operational Excellence (OPEX) Manager for our Lincoln, IL facility. This hands-on leadership role champions ECIS, EBS, Lean, and Six Sigma to build a culture of problem solving and sustainable performance improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• 7+ years of manufacturing, operations, engineering, quality, supply chain, or cross‑functional in a manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of three (3) years in continuous improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or operational excellence.
• Minimum of three (3) years leading people, projects, and cross‑functional teams.
• Eaton will not sponsor immigration visas or provide CPT/OPT/STEM OPT/H-1B support.

Responsibilities

• Champion ECIS, EBS, Lean, and Six Sigma to deliver improvements across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity.
• Partner with plant leadership to deploy the continuous improvement strategy and priorities.
• Build a culture of structured problem solving with leader standard work, daily accountability, and visual management.
• Serve as site expert for the Eaton Business System and link priorities to operating routines and actions.
• Lead Operational Assessment (OpA) preparation, execution, and follow-up, closing gaps with action plans.
• Use Lean and Six Sigma to eliminate waste, improve flow, and strengthen performance.
