Qualifications

• 4–5 years of management experience in manufacturing.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing leadership role is preferred.
• BS/BA required; industrialization or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Lean knowledge and problem-solving skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Improve operational systems and processes to meet organizational goals.
• Ensure program milestones and delivery dates are met.
• Maintain and enforce safety procedures on the production floor.
• Develop production floor design considering product flow and space needs.

Job description

The Operations Manager, plays a leading role in developing the culture of the organization both inside and outside of Operations. Responsible for providing overall leadership to the operations function, with responsibility for: strategy development and implementation; operating plans and budgets; policies and procedures; staff assessment and development; performance measurement and governance; and communications with other business units and senior management. Partner with functional leads across the organization to plan for current and future demand.

Candidate skills & requirements:

• Education: BS/BA required. Focus in industrialization or manufacturing engineering preferred.
• Experience: 4-5 years of management experience. 7-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Skills: Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes. Solid knowledge of LEAN principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proven experience with conflict resolution.
