Amazon is hiring an Operations Manager in Hazleton, PA. You will lead a team of salaried and hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and delivery performance, and partner with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives in a dynamic fulfillment network.

Expect a role that blends data-driven decision making, project leadership, and hands-on coaching, with the capacity to handle variable schedules and physical demands at an active site.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and load balancing.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet business objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in environments with variable temperatures, noise, and potential outdoor loading areas.
• Continuously climb and descend stairs where applicable.
