Job summary

Amazon Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a diverse team of salaried and hourly staff in New Jersey. You will develop teams, drive productivity, and make data-driven decisions to ensure safety, quality, and on-time deliveries.

Responsibilities include coordinating with Safety, Engineering, HR, and other support teams to meet business objectives. The role involves shift work, flexible scheduling, and physical requirements such as lifting up to 49 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• Lean process, Kaizen, and/or Six Sigma experience is preferred.
• Experience managing a sizable team (2+ salaried and 70+ indirect employees) and leading process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of salaried and hourly talent.
• Mentor, support, and motivate staff across shifts.
• Drive productivity plans, forecast reviews, and load balancing with leaders.
• Ensure safety, quality, productivity, and on-time customer delivery.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, HR and other teams to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and stand/walk up to 12 hours on shifts.
