Job summary

The Waterfront Rescue Mission in Mobile is seeking an Operations Manager who will supervise all Support Staff and ensure safe, efficient facility operations at the Mobile Mission location.

Candidate must model Christian ethics, hold a management-related degree, and bring 2+ years of ministry operations experience, a valid driver's license, and willingness to sign the Mission's Faith & Policy statements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Management or related field with 2+ years in ministry operations.
• Valid driver's license and insurability by WRM carrier.
• Willing to sign WRM's Statement of Faith & Gender Policy

Responsibilities

• Serves as Manager on Duty when the Director is off site.
• Coordinates appointments for clients and transportation.
• Oversees inventories, orders, and data reporting.
• Creates/manages weekly cooking, cleaning, and event schedules.
• Supervises Mission staff and volunteers.
• Maintains Safe Serve certification; may travel for training.
