Job summary

Waterfront Rescue Mission in Pensacola seeks an Operations Manager who is positive, safety-minded and team oriented to oversee all support staff and daily mission operations. You will supervise Food Services, transportation, maintenance, and program support; ensure compliance with safety standards, HMIS data entry, and faith-based values in everyday duties.

Bachelor's degree preferred with 2+ years in management within ministry settings; background checks and Safe Serve certification required;

Qualifications

• Christian Commitment: exemplify Christian behaviors and values; high ethics and character.
• Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Management, Social Work or related field; 2+ years in ministry operations or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and insurable by WRM.
• Pass Level 2 Background Clearance for HMIS data access.
• Willingness to sign WRM's Statement of Faith.

Responsibilities

• Manager on Duty when Director is off campus or unavailable.
• Coordinate client appointments and transportation.
• Manage inventories, orders, and reporting for supplies.
• Create and manage weekly schedules for cooking, cleaning, laundry and events.
• Assist Chaplains with client needs when needed.
• Supervise day-to-day operations and staff interruptions.
• Oversee facility maintenance and act on behalf of Program Manager as needed.
• Direct supervision of Mission Support Staff, Food Services Managers and Volunteers.
• Obtain and maintain Safe Serve certification.
• Travel for training and temporary duty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
