Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation in Savannah, GA is seeking an Operations Manager I (GAC Savannah) to lead day-to-day aircraft manufacturing production. Under close supervision, you will plan, schedule and supervise the department to meet FAA regulations, quality, safety and budget goals, while driving Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Management, Aviation Maintenance or related field.
2 years of technically related aviation maintenance/manufacturing experience or 2 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
Under close supervision, plans, schedules and supervises day-to-day operations to meet production requirements.

Responsibilities

Assigns production responsibilities and schedules to department leads to ensure FAA-compliant completion.
Ensures department has adequate resources and enforces policies and procedures.
Maintains a safe work environment with 6S standards and safety practices; oversees tools/equipment safety.
