Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, plus 5 years in aviation maintenance, manufacturing, or manufacturing engineering.
• Supervisory, team lead or project management experience preferred.
• Advanced degrees may count for experience: up to 2 years Masters and 4 years PhD.

Responsibilities

• Plan and develop the Operations Engineering function for the MBU; lead lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Provide guidance to subordinates, mentoring and leadership development.
• Develop layout, process flow, tooling, material handling, and cost/quality improvements.
• Oversee daily work planning and department metrics; manage records and data.
• Monitor budgets, travel, and resource allocation to meet targets.
• Ensure policy adherence, improve quality, and support concurrent engineering for new products.
