Qualifications

  • Knowledge of engineering configuration requirements, tooling, quality control, plant safety, blueprint reading, and shop math.
  • Proficiency with CATIA or similar CAD tools.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and maintain detailed work instructions; drive quality and efficiency improvements; manage daily work plan; track metrics.
  • Perform RCCA analysis on quality defects with first-time quality in mind.
  • Analyze operations to optimize production; define equipment/tooling needs and methods.
  • Assist in make-or-buy decisions; evaluate vendors; help resolve vendor issues.
  • Conduct planning research/analyses to meet requirements and justify improvements.
  • Lead projects across organizations to achieve process improvements; apply Lean and Six Sigma principles.
  • Support safety, sustainability and ergonomic initiatives; contribute to Business Continuity planning.
