Job summary

Rocky Mountain Mechanical is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee daily operations across HVAC, plumbing, generator, fireplace, and water treatment divisions in Emmett, Idaho. You will coordinate schedules, coach staff, and maintain KPI reporting while ensuring quality, safety, and exceptional customer service.

The role emphasizes process improvements, SOP updates, and profitability through efficient operations and strong team leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of HVAC, plumbing, or mechanical industry experience preferred.
Previous leadership or management experience.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Experience with ServiceTitan is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operations of service and installation departments.
Coordinate technician schedules and workloads to keep projects on track.
Monitor job progress and ensure timely completion; resolve scheduling conflicts.
Lead, coach, and mentor technicians and office staff; conduct regular meetings.
Ensure exceptional customer service and handle escalated issues professionally.
Review job costing and monitor labor efficiency; support profitability goals.
Perform job site inspections to ensure quality and safety; enforce SOPs.
Monitor inventory and coordinate material orders; ensure tools are available.
