Job summary

Edelman Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric & Solar is seeking a Plumbing Manager to lead the plumbing department, supervise installers, manage purchasing and inventory, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

The role requires strong leadership, adherence to codes, and effective communication with customers and teams. Candidates with related trade management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug and background screens.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable.
• 2+ years management experience (Adds $3,500 to Base Salary).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office/Google Docs.
• Ability to read business reports and translate information into actionable items (Adds $1,500 to base salary).
• Able to communicate clearly in English both verbally and in writing.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with lead installers to ensure professional execution of projects.
• Update job schedule and layout schedule.
• Review new jobs with Install teams.
• Responsible for profitability of the department.
• Check prices with vendors to ensure competitive pricing of equipment and materials.
• Provide accounting with daily billing by end of the day.
• Approve electronic timecards.
• Ensure crews work to meet deadlines and stay within budget.
• Supervise install crews to complete work orders on time and in compliance with city codes, OSHA and EPA regulations.
