Job summary

The Association for Individual Development is seeking an Operations Manager for Elgin, IL. You will lead day-to-day operations across multiple Community Living locations and ensure compliance with DHS, HCBS, CARF standards while managing budgets and staff performance.

This full-time role includes on-call duties, potential remote work up to 20% of the week, and a focus on creating a safe, supportive environment for clients and staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience supervising DSP staff.
• Familiarity with DHS, HCBS and CARF standards.
• Ability to manage budgets and payroll processes.
• On-call responsibilities and remote work flexibility may be required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations for up to 7 Community Living locations.
• Hire, train, supervise and evaluate DSP staff.
• Monitor program budgets and expenditures to ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Ensure safe, accessible environments in accordance with regulations and agency policies.
• Coordinate on-call coverage and remote work arrangements as needed.
• Maintain compliance with licensure requirements and prepare reports as required.
