Job summary

50Floor seeks an Operations Manager to lead branch operations, driving revenue while delivering high-quality workmanship. The role collaborates with the GSM, oversees warehouse to job-site activities, and mentors contractors and staff in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has a hands-on leadership style, strong problem-solving abilities, and a track record in home improvement or construction project management. Travel within a 75-mile radius is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience driving performance and leading teams.
• Experience in home improvement industry preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with diverse flooring products (hardwood, carpet, tile, laminate, etc.) is a plus.
• BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Must be able to articulate and train one-on-one or in small groups.
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, starting at 7 am or earlier, and alternating Saturdays with after-hours calls.
• Travel: 25-50% within 75-mile radius as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support branch GM in training, quality, service standards, and profitability.
• Manage, coach, and monitor operations team.
• Lead educational meetings to drive performance and knowledge.
• Assist in onboarding contractors.
• Address and resolve escalated customer issues for timely settlements.
• Perform site visits to verify installation quality and service issues.
• Fill in for GM during planned or unplanned time off.
