Job summary

Lewis Environmental LLC seeks an Operations Manager to oversee the Operational Service Center. You will lead field supervisors, drive safety culture, and ensure adherence to policies and client contracts.

You will manage performance, improve processes, and collaborate with project teams to deliver environmental contracting services. This role requires field presence and on-call flexibility.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to lead a team of 4-6 direct reports.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR and background check.
• Flexibility for weekend and on-call duties.
• Strong safety, integrity and accountability focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Supervisors to perform Environmental Contracting Services per SOPs.
• Foster a culture of safety and coordinate with Health & Safety initiatives.
• Provide accountability and feedback on operational staff performance.
• Implement performance improvement plans to meet goals.
• Monitor controllable expenses to keep operations profitable.
• Coordinate with Project Management to define Scope of Services and execute projects.
• Attend monthly operations meetings and promote leadership development.
• Spend 30-50% in the field to monitor quality and safety on sites.
• Maintain positive client relations and address concerns proactively.
• Collaborate with Waste Manager on hazardous/non-hazardous material handling.
