Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Manager, Operations - Earnings Controls in Sunnyvale, CA to lead multiple work streams and design and execute control plans across contractor earnings processes. You will collaborate with Engineering and Product, maintain control documentation, and support SOX readiness while driving process improvements and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
• Experience in internal controls, SOX/ICFR, or related risk/control roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support control design and implementation across contractor earnings processes, including pay calculations, deductions, tax withholding, and 1099 reporting.
• Perform control assessments for the Spark Driver earnings ecosystem and assist remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product to design IT-dependent controls and ITGCs over earnings systems.
• Contribute to SOX readiness by maintaining RCMs and process narratives.
• Help build monitoring mechanisms and dashboards for control health.
