Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager in Little Rock, AR to lead a mixed team of salaried and hourly staff, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and deliver on customer promises. You will mentor staff, manage large projects, and partner with Safety, Engineering, and HR to meet business objectives.

The role requires 3+ years of management experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and flexibility to work weekends or holidays. Strong Lean and problem-solving skills are valued.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience.
• Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience.
• Experience managing a team of 2+ salaried employees and 70+ indirect employees.
• Experience scoping, leading, and implementing process improvements through Lean, Kaizen, or Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your salaried and hourly workforce.
• Lead large-scope projects with site and regional impact.
• Build and execute productivity plans through forecast reviews and loading balance.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, HR to meet objectives.
