Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations and drive profitability across the business. The role involves assisting planners with scheduling, monitoring job costs, procurement, and accounting functions to support branch performance.

You will evaluate financial impacts of field operations, partner with the Branch Manager on safety, HR, and recruiting goals, and oversee a team capable of delivering world‑class service while maintaining

Qualifications

• 5+ years of field or industrial office management experience.
• Accounting experience - AP/AR/Payroll (NetSuite experience a plus).
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficient with computers.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Proven organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time.

Operations Managers Are Responsible For The Following

• Manage business operations and profitability
• Assist planners with scheduling, maintaining job costs, procurement, and accounting functions
• Evaluate the financial impacts of field operations on branch performance
• Work with the Branch Manager to meet Safety, Human Resources, and Recruiting goals
