Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing, a leading Tier 1 supplier of complex metal assemblies for the global automotive industry, seeks an Operations Manager to plan, organize and control the Holland, MI plant’s manufacturing functions, ensuring on-time, quality production and profitability.

Reporting to Plant Manager, you will lead press operations, manage staffing and costs, enforce safety and quality standards, and train production teams. 1st shift / 7AM-4PM, M-F, Holland, MI location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years’ experience leading a multi-shift production facility.
• Proven leadership experience and accountability.
• Experience with Plex Systems ERP and MS Office (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Leads all press operations and coordinates production departments to meet schedules and quality.
• Analyzes material, equipment, and staffing needs and collaborates with other departments to solve problems.
• Owns overall quality, identifies issues, and initiates corrective actions including audits.
• Motivates and trains production personnel to improve performance and morale.
