Position Summary
As directed by the Operations Manager, this position will assist the Operations Manager and support the operation in general. The role includes managing the logistical aspects of daily tour operations, amphitheater concert events, STAR Shuttle, Night of Lights, and directing dispatching and management of tour and shuttle loops and charters, while maintaining the company's mission to be the Nation’s Storyteller®.

Essential Functions
- Assist the Operations Manager to plan and organize workloads and staff assignments/schedules.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures and Manager‑on‑Duty duties when assigned.
- Maintain a safe work environment by working with safety teams to ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, ADA, and local regulations.
- Assist in maintaining effective relationships with client groups, government officials, and media representatives to develop new business opportunities.
- Manage logistical aspects of daily tour, amphitheater concert event, STAR Shuttle, and Night of Lights operations; perform opening procedures and dispatch loops efficiently.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to work independently over long periods and in groups within established rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, file and records management.
- Knowledge of customer service principles: assessing needs, meeting quality standards, and evaluating satisfaction.
- Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with employees, supervisors, other departments, and external entities.
- Ability to express oneself clearly, persuade, present, and conduct meetings.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Valid Florida Class C or higher CDL with passenger and air brake endorsements; must obtain CDL within the first month of employment.
- Acceptable driving record for the past three years.
Other Requirements
- Must pass pre‑employment MVR/background check and substance abuse testing.
- Valid DOT physical required.
- Have a passion for helping people and making the St. Augustine experience memorable.
- City of St. Augustine Tour Guide License.
