Job summary

Direct Impact Logistics in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking an Operations Manager to help guide the local business unit, leading safe work practices and lean management of transportation and delivery.

You will work with the team to ensure accountability for inbound and outbound logistics, oversee day-to-day operations, set strategic goals, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience interacting with Independent Contractors (Delivery Service Providers).
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.

Job description

Operations Manager Role:

• The Operations Manager will assist General Manager in executing the overall direction and coordination of the local business unit.
• This role will lead-safe work practices and lean management of the transportation and delivery function.
• The Operations Manager will work closely with the Team to ensure accountability for inbound/outbound logistics.
• They will report to General Manager.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
• Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
• Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
• Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
• Lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 70 pounds each.
• Move up and down stairs.

Basic Qualifications:
