Job summary

Direct Impact Logistics in the United States is seeking an Operations Manager to assist the General Manager in directing the local business unit and coordinating logistics.

You will lead safe work practices, lean management of transportation and delivery, and work with the team to ensure accountability for inbound/outbound activities, reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with delivery service providers or Independent Contractors.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Requirements

• Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.


• Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.


• Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation.


• Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.


• Lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 70 pounds each.


• Move up and down stairs.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.


• Experience interacting with Independent Contractors (Delivery Service Providers).

Preferred Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills.


• Previous experience with final mile deliveries.


• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and analytical skills.


• Demonstrated communication skills (written and verbal).


• Spanish speaking preferred.
